Filled with some tasty bagels thanks to Ann, we found the bus stop and headed into the historic district of Savannah. Sam went off to find some hipster-esque pretentious coffee and I went a-wandering with my camera. It was really just a lovely area to walk around in, chat with people, and the beautiful weather was certainly welcome.
The day entailed hanging out in a coffee shop catching up on reading, tasty Thai food, and a lovely dinner with Todd (bicycle saviour), his wife Becky, and business partner and friend Rosie, at Sweet Potato. I had a lot of fun chatting with the three of them and generally just enjoying dinner with some awesome people. A great balance of exploration and rest was found in Savannah and I went to bed ready to head out the next morning.
tell me you didnt try the caramel corn with pecans and almonds....
